The Entropy Engine is fully run by students. It’s a space where high school students can take engineering and philosophy ideas off the whiteboard and into the real world (and every once in a while, into a rabbit hole that starts with a “what if” and ends with a “should cars have feelings?”).

We believe that the world is made of messy systems that are all constantly overlapping, breaking, and evolving. The Entropy Engine is a space to explore that chaos with curiosity.
Run by students, this blog is our way of thinking out loud: asking questions, building thought experiments, and trying to imagine better systems for people and the planet. We believe that learning isn’t about having the right answer, it’s about daring to ask the right questions, and being open to strange, surprising ones too.
Meet Our Team
About Meena – lead writer and founder
Hi! I’m Meena, a high school student who has an obsession with systems, a soft spot for thought experiments, and a habit of reimagining how the world could work… usually while everyone else is asleep. This blog’s framework started developing at 1 a.m. one summer night, when I realized that the ideas bouncing around in my head might actually matter, if I shared them. I strongly believe the way to fix things is to start by seeing them differently, which in my case is through philosophy, engineering, and a healthy dose of humor.
